Droid Home++ screenshot

I’ve been playing with the Home++ beta as an Android home replacement on the Verizon Motorola Droid.

Some of the features of Home++ are:

  • Power Strip: this is a small scrollable strip of commonly used applications such as the Contacts and Browser. It can be seen at the bottom of the screenshot.
  • Bookmarks: quick, easy access to bookmarks without having to load the Browser first.
  • Additional Workspaces: up to seven workspace screens instead of Android’s default of three.
  • Tasks List: see running tasks and terminate multiple processes at once.
  • Screenshots: take screenshots using the physical Camera button.

The screenshot below is of my default home screen. This includes the Flip Date and Flip Time widgets at the top, commonly used application icons in the middle, and the Home++ Power Strip on the bottom.

Switching back to WordPress

I decided to switch back to WordPress from b2evolution. It will take me a little while, but I should have all the old posts added back in a couple nights or so.

Google Wave

You can now reach me on Google Wave. My address is tobycollier (-at-) googlewave.com. I think Google Wave has potential, but not until it gets a lot more users and extensions.
